Dare to Try
The Power of Persistence
Our studies show that 10 times out of 10, daring to try something new is better than not trying at all.
It’s easy to shy away from challenges, especially when there might be a risk of failure. But it’s through trying new things and expanding our creative horizons that the amazing work really gets done.
Growth happens when we push past our comfort zones. Whether it’s tackling a new project, learning a new skill, or testing a wild idea, we’re always growing by trying, even when we think it might not go perfectly (perfection is the enemy of progress, after all).
Of course when it comes to our clients, we never settle for bad work. But in the pursuit of new things, we embrace the possibility of failure. We’ve learned that trying something new means sure, we may stumble at first—and that’s okay. It’s the stumbles that give us the chance to learn, refine, and find our stride.
This newsletter? It’s a new thing we’re trying. We’re learning by doing, embracing the imperfections, and iterating as we go. We’re confident it’ll get better over time, and that’s what excites us.
So here’s to daring to do. Here’s to showing up, making mistakes, and moving forward. After all, the best way to learn is by doing, failing, and doing again—better.
This Month’s Muse

Nashville Design Week has been on our radars for a while, thanks in part to their bold, fun design and community-focused mission. I mean, “creating a higher quality of life through design”? Who doesn’t want that?! NDW gets two thumbs up from the team at P&M.
We’re looking forward to seeing you there later this year!
